Roscoe was a beloved rooster roaming the neighborhood of Takoma Park, who was celebrated by the community with a bronze statue by artist Norman Greene, created shortly after he died in 1999. Many artists have been inspired to celebrate Roscoe’s free spirit. There is even a restaurant named after him.
