Celebrate North Hills of Sligo Creek, a neighborhood in the Four Corners area of Silver Spring, Maryland, with this original neighborhood map T-shirt.
The design features a detailed street and parcel-style map of North Hills of Sligo Creek, framed by a decorative dotted border. The neighborhood name is set in distinctive lettering inspired by the vintage Four Corners signs that welcome visitors to the area.
Designed for people who live here, grew up here, or have a connection to the neighborhood, this shirt makes a unique local gift and a wearable celebration of this Silver Spring community.
About the Map
This artwork is an artistic interpretation created using multiple map and geographic reference sources. Streets, parcel-style lines, boundaries, labels, and other details have been selected and simplified for the design and may differ from current official maps. Because this is a detailed map design, some smaller street names and map details may be difficult to read when printed, particularly on smaller shirt sizes. It is intended as neighborhood artwork, not as a survey or navigational map.
A Note About the Land
These maps depict modern neighborhood boundaries and streets within a landscape with a much longer history. This area of what is now Montgomery County is part of the ancestral homeland of the Piscataway-Conoy peoples.
Printed on a soft Bella+Canvas unisex T-shirt and available in Black, Navy, Forest, Maroon, Steel Blue, Heather Carolina Blue, and Athletic Heather.
Make It Personal — Optional DIY Idea
Want to mark your spot? Add a small heart or map marker over your home, street, or another meaningful place using fabric paint.
Before painting, place a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to help prevent paint from bleeding through to the back. Use paint intended for fabric and follow the paint manufacturer’s directions for application, drying, and setting.
See the example image for inspiration. The shirt arrives with the printed map design only; painted accents are not included.
