The Story Behind the Art
Motor Cat became something of a local legend around the Washington, DC area. Seeing a cat happily riding on a motorcycle while wearing a helmet was the kind of delightful sight that stayed with people and even got a mention in the Washington Post for comments and links.
Years later, I created this artwork as a tribute to those memories and to the joy that unexpected moments can bring.
