Hi! I’m Michelle, a designer and artist living in Silver Spring, MD with my wife Anna. I want to make beautiful art and designs that make people smile, feel closer to nature and the places they love most!
I run a small business offering original paintings, prints, note cards, T-shirts, hats, totes, mugs & more. Many of the designs you’ll find here were inspired by our garden, the nearby NW Branch Trail, and the nature, people, and places that make this neighborhood such a special place to live. I make matted prints and note cards in my home studio which are available here on this website gift shop. Local pickup may be an option for things I produce myself — contact me to inquire. I can also make custom designs for your group or organization.
New designs are added regularly, so check back often—and watch for seasonal designs throughout the year, including Halloween and Christmas. And feel free to reach out with a custom request or a different product or color for an existing design.
Here are some quick links where you can find some of the local designs shown in the photos or you can keep scrolling.

Oh Deer…
Last spring, we kept finding flowers with the blooms completely gnawed off and couldn’t figure out what was helping itself to the garden. Then we discovered the culprit—a tiny fawn that quickly stole our hearts.
That little visitor inspired me to start painting again and my new Oh Deer design, a tribute to the critters that remind us that sharing the garden isn’t always such a bad thing. 🦌🌸
