“Waiting for the Bookworms” Little Free Library Takoma Park, MD – Original Acrylic Painting by Michelle Bailey
I just finished a new painting based on an actual little library in my neighborhood. The real one is quite beautiful and colorful. A grandfather clock was repurposed for this amazing library.

Gateway Open Studio Tour – Art DC 16×16 & Washington Glass Studio
Had a great time Saturday at the Gateway Open Studio Tour featuring artists/studios in the Hyattsville, Brentwood and Mount Rainier neighborhoods. “BLIEVE, HON”, my painting of a Takoma Park truck with political, spiritual and humorous bumper stickers, was installed as part of the 16×16 exhibit at the artdc Gallery in Hyattsville, MD.
